The Wittnauer Automatic wristwatch Ref 5003 is a vintage watch produced in the mod 1960s. The watch features an automatic movement, which means that it is wound by the movement of the wearer's wrist rather than needing to manually wind daily, or being powered by a battery.
The Wittnauer caliber D11KAS movement was produced by Record Watch Co (Base Caliber 1958) for both Wittnauer and Longines, is 17 jewels and has a power reserve of 44 hours.
The 38 mm case and bezel are steel and in nice condition. The silver dial has a light patina and features a mirrored W Wittnauer logo, mirrored baton indices with lumes at the ends, silver baton hour and minute hands with black tips and lumes, and a slender silver stick sweep second. The dial is signed Wittnauer Geneve, and Automatic. It is very handsome!
This wristwatch comes on an attractive two-piece brown suede Speidel U.S.A. strap with a silver buckle.
This is a very attractive vintage automatic Waltham wristwatch it runs great and would make a nice gift or addition to a watch collection.

Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
