Mickey Mouse Watches
Disney character watch history began in 1933, when the first Mickey Mouse watch was manufactured, that is commonly considered by most people to be the first comic character wristwatch. Timex (first named Ingersoll and then U.S. Time) had the license to manufacture Disney watches from 1933 up until 1968, and from 1968 to 1972, several companies were licensed to produce Mickey Mouse watches, many of which were sold exclusively in Disneyland.
Lorus was made and marketed by Seiko Watch Corporation and began in 1982 in Europe. Lorus complemented Pulsar and Seiko brands and was successful because of the high design and technology standards at an affordable price.

MICKEY MOUSE
LORUS Watch
A great addition to any Mickey Mouse collection! This is a vintage Disney Musical Mickey Mouse wristwatch, dated from 1990's.
It is an analog quartz watch powered by a battery movement with central second hand. Something cool about this timepiece is that when you press the button on the left, the song "It's a small word" plays and the second hand dances to the music. When it ends, it returns to its original position according to real time.
Cased in a 32mm round case, plastic and stainless steel back. Also, it is water resistant.
Still has the original white dial featuring the classic image of Mickey Mouse on the center with super cool animated hands, international flags has a hour marks and silver central second hand. The dial is signed with Lorus Quartz and Disney.
It comes with the original black Leather two-piece strap (showing some wear).
After 30 years, it is still in good condition. FRESH BATTERY!

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. In the listing details we typically try to do our best to list all pertinent dimensions of a watch. If you don't see it, or we failed to do so, please reach out to us. Women’s watches from the 1900s-1970s were also much smaller than today's offerings. Please also feel free to ask any questions you have pertaining to size.
We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust the lighting, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
The condition is pre-owned.
The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
Please review the photos and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
