CASE & BRACELET
The case remains in impressive condition, especially considering the age of the watch, and features full and symmetrical lugs that show minimal evidence of previous polishing and light signs of use. The early style white gold fluted bezel also remains in crisp condition with gentle signs of honest use present. The original Rolex 6251H Rolex Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces dates to 1961 and retains 17 links that show normal stretch for the style and age of the bracelet and will fit up to a 6 3/4-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original "Swiss only" silver sunburst "pie-pan" dial is truly one of a kind with its uniquely aged dial consisting of varying degrees of warm aging throughout. Apart from the obvious and attractive aging, the dial exhibits no notable elements of actual damage or obscene elements of age. The early tritium lume plots all remain intact when inspected under U.V. light with nominal degradation present only in the 1 o'clock plots, and have achieved a charming beige patina. The original alpha-style hands match the dial perfectly and exhibit no degradation when inspected under UV light. The metallic date wheel is original with "closed" 6's and 9's.
