INVICTA – Latin for "INVINCIBLE", Invicta was founded in 1837 by Raphael Picard in Chiasso, Switzerland. Originally crafted mechanical and automatic timepieces, Invicta dedicated to offering top quality expertly built Swiss watches.
A very rare timepiece from the 1950s, this is a vintage Invicta military wristwatch.
It is a manual wind watch powered by an original Invicta movement caliber 114, based on AS 1193 – probably exclusively for or from Invicta. 15 jewels, adjusted, sub-second, 44 hours power reserve, Swiss made.
It still has the original silver dial (showing some patina and aged) with luminous Arabic Numerals and luminous matching hands, bold minute track. The sub-second is located at 6 o’clock and the dial is also signed with the Invicta name.
Cased in a 30mm round case and lug design. It comes on a new-old-stock black nato woven nylon waterproof one-piece strap.
This watch is a perfect collector's item, it is in good condition! Runs very well, keeps good time!

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
