A classic antique 5 stone ring, made of solid buttery 18ct yellow gold. This ring holds 3 stunning blue sapphires and two sparkling white genuine earth mined diamonds. This is a fine example of a very timeless gemstone combination. This high quality antique ring would be perfect for a curated jewellery collection or to be given as an engagement or wedding ring.

Gemstones: 0.66cts of sapphires, 0.44cts of diamonds.

SAPPHIRES: The central gemstone is a gorgeous oval cut sapphire, with two further square cut (amost like a peruzzi cut) smaller sapphires at each end. The sapphires are all a stunning deep royal blue in colour.
1x oval cushion cut sapphire 5 x 4.5 x 3.5 mms (approx 0.50cts), 2x round cut sapphire 2.5mms each (approx 0.16cts combined). For a total estimated combined sapphire carat weight of 0.66cts.
DIAMONDS. This ring has two natural diamonds, both in an old cushion mine cut. These diamonds are chunky and very sparkly, they have cut culets and are nice and white in colour. These gemstones do have some small natural inclusions, but none are big and distracting to the naked eye - being seen only under 10x magnification.
1 diamond is 3.8 x 3.3 x 2.5 mms (approx 0.20cts), the other diamond is 4 x 3.75 x 2.5 mms (approx 0.24cts). For a total estimated combined diamond carat weight of 0.44cts.

In very good antique condition with just some age related tarnish and wear. The central sapphire has some light wear to the facet edges. One of the diamonds appears to be a later replacement for the original, and is supported in the mount with some discreet jewellers resin to ensure a strong hold. This ring has been resized at some point is history. This ring has been professionally cleaned and polished, it's ready to wear or to give as a gift. Please see the photos.

Some styles (such as full eternity bands) cannot be sized at all, and some rings may only be sized within reason. We are always happy to give honest advice and guidance.
