This early Victorian brooch features a hand painted portrait of a young woman with a powdered coiffure dripping in jewelry. The brooch is silver topped 18k gold and bears French hallmarks dating it to the early part of the Victorian era (1838-1847). It measures 1.2 inches wide by 1.25 inches tall and is in extraordinary condition.
