1946 HAMILTON Alan

Made only for one year, a vintage Hamilton Alan wristwatch dated from 1946. It is a manual wind watch, 14/0 sized, caliber grade 980, 17 jewels movement, sub second, U.S.A. made. After 70 years, it still has a beautiful sterling silver dial with 18K solid gold Arabic Numerals and matching hands. Very pretty rectangle stepped tonneau case and fancy lugs design, all in 10K gold filled.

This watch is coming with a vintage Speidel 10K G.F. flex bracelet. This watch is in good condition, it is a very attractive looking watch! Runs very well and keeps great time!

Something interesting to add to make this timepiece more special, the family 980/982 was designed for high-grade small-scale production and about 1,400,000 pieces (all models) were produced between 1934-1954.

This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust light, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
