Waltham Watch Company, also known as the American Waltham Watch Company, was founded in Waltham, Massachusetts, in 1850. The company played a significant role in the history of watchmaking in the United States and produced some of the most highly regarded timepieces of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

A stunning timepiece, this is an Art Deco Waltham mechanical wristwatch dated from 1935.

It is a manual wind watch powered by an original Waltham hunting movement grade 365, size 3/0s, 15 jewels, sub-second hand, U.S.A. made.

This watch still has the original champagne dial (showing some age) with gold Arabic Numerals, bold minute/second track and gold matching hands. The sub-second hand is located at 6 o’clock. Also, the dial is signed with the Waltham name.

Cased in 30x30.7mm tonneau shaped Art Deco case with engraved bezel and sides.

This watch comes with a black leather two-piece strap. Also, we offer too (matching perfect with the era) a silver bracelet that It will fit a wrist up to 6 1/2" (16.5 cm). 

It runs very well and keeps great time!

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
